MOTOWN ENSEMBLE
What is the Motown Ensemble?
The Motown Ensemble is made up of 7th and 8th graders at Lincoln Middle
School that meet Fridays after school in January at the start of the new
year. We learn songs from Detroit's Motown era by artists such as the
Temptations, the Supremes, and many others. We perform at the LMS Family Fun
Night and the Spring Concert.
Instrumentation consists of flutes, saxophones, trumpets/clarinets,
trombones, piano, guitar, bass guitar, drumset, and percussion.
If you play any of these instruments and would like to join the group,
see Mr. Takis at school!
Rehearsals are every FRIDAY after school until 3:45.
