LINCOLN BANDS - Warren, MI


	Mr. Takis is in his 5th year as band director at Lincoln Middle School. He graduated from Michigan State University in 2005 after completing his student teaching in Eaton Rapids, MI. While attending MSU, he was a member of the Spartan Marching Band, MSU Drumline, Symphony Orchestra, Wind Symphony, State Singers, and Spartan Brass. Mr. Takis was also a member of the MSU Competition Drumline that placed 3rd and 2nd nationally in 2002 and 2004, respectively, at the PAS International Convention (PASIC). While at MSU, Mr. Takis played in a band that performed at several schools (including Carlson, Kennedy, and Lincoln Elementary) promoting music in schools. He enjoys playing guitar, bass, drums, and currently plays bass guitar in the band 6 point 5. Mr. Takis is grateful to be a part of the Van Dyke family, and is looking forward to future years at Lincoln. He and his wife Lisa were married in July 2008.	MR.
