LINCOLN BANDS - Warren, MI


	Mr. Taylor is in his 5th year as band director at Lincoln High School. He is a 2002 graduate of Eastern Michigan University where he studied trombone. He student taught at Ann Arbor Huron High School and was employed as a long term instrumental music sub at 5 Ann Arbor schools. In 2003, Mr. Taylor accepted a position at the YMCA Service Learning Academy in Detroit. While at the YMCA, Mr. Taylor helped to build the band to over a hundred students grades 5th through 8th (1/4 of the entire student body). While at EMU, Mr. Taylor was a member of the Wind Ensemble, Orchestra, Jazz Band, Marching Band, Basketball Band, and “The Huron River Brass Quintet.” Mr. Taylor is extremely happy to be a member of the Van Dyke Public Schools teaching staff and is looking forward to his future years at Lincoln High School. He and his wife Vicki are parents of a 2 year-old, Joshua, and a baby boy, Jacob.	MR.
