Mission Statement:

The mission of Lincoln Middle School is to provide a challenging, diverse and dynamic exploratory environment which promotes intellectual growth and positive self-esteem. Our purpose is to stimulate every 7th and 8th grade student to acquire learning skills which will allow each individual to continue their own intellectual, emotional, social and physical development. As a result of this process, our students will be prepared for a successful transition to the high school program. 
 

1. Continue portfolios as an authentic assessment
2. Develop scientific literacy for all students.
3. Develop strategies to minimize failures.
4. Increase percentage of assignments completed and turned in.
5. Improve academics, as measured by pre and post tests.
6. The students will use acceptable language.
7. Integrate Social Studies and Science objectives across
    the curriculum.
8. Implement "Second Step" conflict resolution program.
