School Board Members |

|
Mr. Kedzior is a 1970 graduate of Lincoln High School. He and his family
have lived in the Van Dyke District for thirty years. Son, Adam, a
Lincoln High School graduate, is currently teaching in Florida.
Daughter, Alana, also a Lincoln High School graduate, currently
substitute teaches in the district. Elected to the Board in June of
1993, Mr. Kedzior has held many positions on the Board of Education.
He completed the Certified Board Member Proram in 1993 and received
the Award of Merit from the Macomb County School Board Association
in 1995. Mr. Kedzior has volunteered throughout the district for the
last twenty-plus years.

David Cowlbeck - Vice President |
David Cowlbeck is a graduate of
McKenzie High School in Detroit and has lived in the Van Dyke
community for over thirty years. His four children graduated from
Lincoln High School. Mr. Cowlbeck has been a member of the Lincoln
High School Band Booster Club and Lincoln High School Athletic
Booster Club. Elected in 1994, Mr. Cowlbeck has held the following
offices on the Board of Education: President, Vice President,
Secretary, and Treasurer. In February of 2001, Mr. Cowlbeck
completed course work to become a Certified Board Member and
received the Macomb County School Board Association Award of Merit. |

Richard Carloni -
Secretary |
Richard
Carloni is currently the President of the Van Dyke Board of
Education. He has lived in the Van Dyke District for twenty-four
years and holds an Associates Degree in Applied Science as well as
an Associates Degree of General Studies. Appointed in November of
1999, Mr. Carloni was elected to the Board in June of 2000. Mr.
Carloni's wife currently works at Lincoln High School. They are the
proud parents of five children who have attended or currently attend
Van Dyke Public Schools. Mr. Carloni coaches elementary basketball.
He has also volunteered for the District's Science Olympiad, Paint
the Town, and has held board positions with the Lincoln High School
Band Boosters. |

Eleanor Bates is a 1946 graduate
of Lincoln High School and is a life-long resident of the Van Dyke
community. Ms. Bates is a former member of the Warren City Council
and is currently serving on the Warren Beautification Commission,
Warren Symphony, Warren Concert Band, Warren Historical Society,
CDC, and is a very active member of the Lincoln High School Alumni
Association. The five Bates children are graduates of Lincoln High
School. Elected to the Board of Education in June of 2005, Ms. Bates
says, "My goal is to provide and develop quality education for all
students at all levels; in order to succeed in today's world, our
students need to continue their education beyond high school to
compete for the jobs of the 21st Century." |

Diane Boehm has lived in the Van
Dyke Public Schools District for over twenty-five years. Elected in
June of 1994, Ms. Boehm has held offices on the Board of Education
as President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. She holds a
Masters of Arts in Teaching and has taken additional course work in
educational leadership. Currently, Ms. Boehm is principal at a
neighboring elementary school. The Boehm children are graduates of
Lincoln High School. |

As a 1979 graduate from Lincoln High School,
Mr. Brinkey also boasts that his two older sons also graduated from
Lincoln, one in 2002 and one in 2007. The youngest Brinkey son
currently attends Lincoln Middle School. After graduation, Mr.
Brinkey served in the United States Army Airborne. A shining moment
for Mr. Brinkey is the development of 17-18 year old boys' baseball.
Community activities include WVAC Board President, umpire for the
City of Warren and football coach for the 5/6th grade boys at St.
Clement School. Mr. Brinkey has volunteered for the Warren Village
Athletic Club since 1994 and is a Cubmaster. Mr. Brinkey states,
"Forty years in this district speaks volumes about Van Dyke Public
Schools being the best". |

Mr. Nielson and his family have lived in the Van Dyke
District for twenty-two years. Elected in June of 1995, Mr. Nielson
has been very active holding various positions on the Board of
Education and volunteering within the district. Mrs. Nielson also
works at Thompson Community Center. All of the Nielson children are
graduates of Lincoln High School. |
