Congratulations to Marley Edmunds for winning the Carlson Elementary School Spelling Bee! Marley will move to the county level to compete against other spelling bee winners. We are so proud of you!

Fundraiser items are still available for pick-up! Come any time between 2 and 4 to pick up items!

Trunk or Treat is coming soon!! We can't wait to see you on October 26th! We will have music, trick or treating and games. See you then!

Gleaners Mobile Pantry will be this Wednesday, June 21st. It will be held at McKinley Elementary - 13173 Toepfer, Warren, MI 48089. It will run from 9:30-10:30.

Wednesday is COUNT DAY!! Attendance on this day is very important! We will have pajama day and a movie and popcorn! Can't wait to see everyone there!

Welcome Back to the 2022-2023 school year! School starts Monday, August 29th with a half day. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will be full days. Friday there will be no school! We can't wait to see everyone on Monday! Get some rest and we will see you soon!

Warren Public Library is pleased to offer Prime Time Family Reading Time, a free six-week program, beginning July 12, 2022. Prime Time Family Reading Time aims to engage families of non-active library users with storytelling and book discussions to promote critical thinking skills. Each session begins with a free meal for families, and at the end of each session, each family receives a copy of one of the books read to create or supplement their own home libraries, as well as a chance at door prizes. The program is intended for students ages 6 to 10 accompanied by their families. It will be held at Wiegand Park (8700 Toepfer Road, Warren, between 8 and 9 Mile Roads and between Van Dyke and Hoover), and transportation can be provided if needed.

Carlson students participated in a 5K as part of Girls On The Run at Metro Beach on May 22nd. We are SO PROUD of our students for their dedication, support of each other, and perseverance! They are role models for us all! Thank you to the co-sponsors: Mrs. Mazliah, Ms. Biske, and Ms. Hoekstra!
