Dear LMS Families,

We need your support with ongoing concerns involving middle school students going onto Lincoln Elementary property after dismissal. Students have been banging on classroom windows, loudly using inappropriate language, and taking pictures through windows while elementary classes are still in session.

Middle school students must go home after dismissal. They may not remain on Middle or Elementary property while waiting for elementary dismissal. Students helping with sibling pickup may return at 3:26 p.m., approximately one hour after their own dismissal.

Staff have addressed these concerns several times over the past two months, but the disruptions have continued. Students who repeatedly violate these expectations will no longer be permitted to pick up siblings, and parents will need to make other arrangements.

Please review these expectations with your child. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe, respectful learning environment for our elementary students and staff.

Student Eligibility

This dance is a reward for students demonstrating positive Attendance, Behavior, and Engagement.

To attend, students must:
- Be on ABE's List.
- Remain in good standing with attendance and behavior expectations.
- Avoid disciplinary issues and excessive tardies leading up to the dance.

Please note: Administration reserves the right to deny entry to students with disciplinary concerns or tardiness issues during the week of October 26–30, even if a ticket has already been purchased.

Secretary of State Mobile Office Coming to LHS!

The Michigan Secretary of State Mobile Office will be at Lincoln High School on Thursday, October 29, 2026, from 12:00–6:00 p.m.

This is a great opportunity for families and community members to take care of Secretary of State services close to home!

Anime Club at Lincoln Middle School!

We’re excited to offer Anime Club—a place for students to explore anime, manga, and Japanese animation while connecting with others who share their interests!

Activities may include anime-themed discussions, drawing, character design, and collaborative projects. All materials will be selected with student age and school appropriateness in mind.

Students are expected to follow school rules, respect others, and help create a safe, welcoming environment. A signed parent/guardian permission slip is required to participate.

Count Day is Wednesday!

Help us make it a great Count Day by making sure your student is at school and in their seat by 7:25 AM.

As a special incentive, the Flavor Fusion trailer will be at Lincoln Middle School from 9:30–11:30 AM!

Reminder: LHS Homecoming Parade is today at 5:00 PM!

The parade will leave the high school/middle school parking lot and travel south on Federal, east on Studebaker around Lincoln Elementary, and north on MacArthur.

Families can find a great viewing spot anywhere near Lincoln Middle School or Lincoln Elementary along Federal, Studebaker, or MacArthur. Come see the fire truck, band, cheerleaders, robotics, VIPs, and more—and bring a bag for collecting candy!

Then join us tonight at 7:00 PM for the Homecoming varsity football game vs. Clawson High School.

Student Spectator Expectations We love seeing our students support their classmates and LMS teams! To maintain a safe, welcoming environment at our after-school athletic events, the following expectations apply to all LMS students attending as spectators: * Students must be on the current ABE’s List. * Students must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or responsible adult for the duration of the event. * Students must remain with their adult and follow all school and event expectations. * Students may not be dropped off or attend an event without adult supervision. Athletic event staff are responsible for admissions, concessions, scorekeeping, event operations, and overall event safety. Staff are not available to provide individual supervision for unaccompanied students after the regular school day. After-school events are optional extracurricular activities, and parents/guardians are responsible for the supervision of their children while attending. Students who do not meet these expectations may be asked to leave the event.

🤖 STEAM4 Robotics Club is back for the 2026–27 school year! Robotics Club begins Monday, September 28 and will meet Mondays from 2:30–3:30 PM in the Art Room. Due to the power outage, Lincoln Middle School will dismiss students at 1:25 p.m. today. Buses will run with the following adjustments: * Bus 3 and Bus 5 will ride Bus 3. * Bus 11 and Bus 1 will ride Bus 10. * Bus 16 and Bus 17 will ride Bus 17. * Buses 13, 4, 19, and 14 will run their normal buses and routes. LMS Football Tryouts 🏈

Football tryouts begin Tuesday for 7th and 8th grade students. Students should meet in the cafeteria immediately after school. Tryouts will run until 4:30 PM.
